How we communicate beyond words.
How groups come alive.
How trust is built.
How ideas gather momentum.
How people learn through experience.
How something that doesn’t yet exist gets made.
Different worlds. The same underlying practice.
For more than twenty years, I have worked internationally across theatre, facilitation, education, cultural production and organisational learning.
Theatre became my laboratory for understanding what people actually do together: how they listen, respond under pressure, take up authority, build trust and create—or obstruct—collective intelligence.
Today, I bring that practice into organisations, learning environments and creative projects.
What I do
Work that creates the conditions for people and ideas to move
Facilitation and Group Intelligence
Designing conditions in which groups can think together, build trust, make hidden dynamics visible and move difficult work forward.
Organisational Learning & Experience Design
Creating practical, experiential learning in which people can recognise their patterns, try something different and experience what changes.
Communication & Presence
Working with how people listen, influence, respond and communicate—through words, bodies and behaviour.
Creative Strategy
Finding the questions, connections and structures that move an idea from possibility into action.
Cultural Production & Project Delivery
Bringing ambitious, collaborative projects into being—from concept and partnerships through to delivery in the room.

Work across education, culture and collective experience.

Before any of this came professional theatre.
I trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Australia, at École Philippe Gaulier in Paris, and with Anne Bogart and the SITI Company in New York. For more than twenty years, I have worked internationally as a performer, director, theatre educator and creative practitioner.
That life has included hundreds of performances, improvisations, workshops, collaborations and creative developments—across countries, cultures, disciplines and languages.
Theatre is live, collective and unforgiving. It reveals who is listening, who is holding back, where attention goes, when trust appears and what changes when somebody takes a real risk.
It trained me in adaptability, presence, resourcefulness and courage and that is the practice I bring into every room.
I pay attention to what happens between people.
How do groups think?
What shuts creativity down?
What creates enough trust for people to take risks?
How does hierarchy change what can be said?
What happens when certainty disappears?
What becomes possible when people laugh?
How does learning move from the head into the body?

I like projects at the moment something begins to move.
A new programme.
A difficult question.
A community being formed.
An idea searching for its shape.
A team needing to think differently.
An experience that hasn’t been invented yet.
If you’re building something new, rethinking something old or trying to bring people together around an idea, I’d like to hear about it.
Let’s talk
